As a Copywriter, I can adapt to different voices and personalities to bring out the best for your company. I have worked with several high profile brands, including Mamas & Papas, Liberty London, Disney and Donna Wilson, to create a variety of copy and content for online, social media and retail. I have experience working with both B2B and B2C organisations.
My background in comedy writing helps me to inject humour and wit into my work, to better connect with consumers. Though you may not think it, reading that last sentence.

Mamas & Papas
Brand Message and Story:
Mamas & Papas wanted a bold statement to introduce their new catalogue and revamped brand identity. The brief was to great something honest about the realities of being a parent, combined with an empowering message. I feel this was achieved and the message has since been used in store, online and across gift bags and t-shirts.
This was the introduction to the 2015 AW Catalogue, feeding the new brand message into our communications.
Catalogue Pages and Product Copy:
An example from the AW15 catalogue. I was asked to find a way of communicating core features unique to our pushchairs, so I created the ‘Five things that make our pushchairs special’ page. I was also tasked with finding a way of incorporating expert advice from members of our design team into the catalogue, so I created the ‘Here’s something useful’ call out.
As part of the company rebrand, one of the key areas Mamas & Papas wanted to focus on was in store communications. I was briefed to add more personality to our retail messaging. This extended to campaigns and sales events, such as Black Friday, that are more commercial in their nature.

Collaboration Look Book:
We collaborated with Liberty London on a range of travel, clothing, toys and interiors pieces; and I was tasked with creating the over- arching story behind the collaboration, highlighting our commitment to quality babywear, and Liberty’s iconic print work. Website Copy and Brand Tone of Voice:
Music Dedication, a website dedicated to connecting local musicians with audiences, briefed me to not only create copy for their website, but to help define their brand tone of voice. The ultimate aim was to explain the complex service in a way that felt clear and accessible to potential users. More examples can be found at Music Dedication.
